Translationally repressive RNA structures monitored in vivo using temperate DNA bacteriophages

Gene, 1998
The RNA challenge phage system enables genetic selection of proteins with RNA-binding activity in bacteria. These phages are modified versions of the temperate DNA bacteriophage P22 in which post-transcriptional regulatory events control the developmental fate of the phage.

Repressers, Cryptic Enzymes and Structural Genes

Nature, 1963
The Multiple Alleles at the MZ Locus. The fermentation of melezitose1 by Saccharomyces is controlled by a gene which generates a single enzyme capable of hydrolysing the five α-glucosides, namely, turanose, maltose, sucrose, α-methyl-glucoside and melezitose2.

Industrial policy and repressed structural change in West Germany [PDF]

open access: possible, 1988
