The Residue Determinant

The purpose of this paper is to present the construction of a canonical determinant functional on elliptic pseudodifferential operators associated to the Guillemin-Wodzicki residue trace. The resulting functional is multiplicative, a local invariant, and not defined by a regularization procedure.

ERBIN limits epithelial cell plasticity via suppression of TGF‐β signaling

FEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In breast and lung cancer patients, low ERBIN expression correlates with poor clinical outcomes. Here, we show that ERBIN inhibits TGF‐β‐induced epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in NMuMG breast and A549 lung adenocarcinoma cell lines. ERBIN suppresses TGF‐β/SMAD signaling and reduces TGF‐β‐induced ERK phosphorylation.

C‐mannosylation promotes ADAMTS1 activation and secretion in human testicular germ cell tumor NEC8 cells

C‐mannosylation is a unique form of protein glycosylation. In this study, we demonstrated that ADAMTS1 is C‐mannosylated at Trp562 and Trp565 in human testicular germ cell tumor NEC8 cells.
