Residual Log-Periodogram Inference for Long-Run-Relationships [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
We assume that some consistent estimator of an equilibrium relation between non-stationary series integrated of order d E (0:5; 1:5) is used to compute residuals ˆut = yt - xt (or differences there of).

A Two-Parameter Weighted Rama Distribution with Properties and Application

open access: yesUniversal Journal of Mathematics and Applications, 2019
In this paper, a two-parameter weighted Rama distribution which includes one parameter Rama distribution introduced by Shanker [1] has been proposed for modelling real lifetime data.

Differential expression of cancer‐related genes supports prediction of poor response to first‐line treatments in T‐ALL pediatric patients with high minimal residual disease

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the present work, we have identified a transcriptional signature based on the differential expression of six genes (BCL2&MAST4, HSH2D&LAT2, METRN&PITPNM2) that would facilitate the early detection of T‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T‐ALL) patients prone to a poor treatment response and could be implemented at diagnosis, along with other risk ...

An Alternative Asymptotic Analysis of Residual-Based Statistics [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper presents an alternative method to derive the limiting distribution of residual-based statistics. Our method does not impose an explicit assumption of (asymptotic) smoothness of the statistic of interest with respect to the model's parameters ...

Classical and Bayesian inference for the new four-parameter Lomax distribution with applications

open access: yesHeliyon
In this study, a new four-parameter Lomax distribution is proposed using a new alpha power transformation technique. The new distribution is named ''New Alpha Power Transformed Power Lomax Distribution.'' Mathematical properties, including moments, the ...

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

BAYESIAN ANALYSIS OF CONDITIONAL AUTORIEGRESSIVE MODELS [PDF]

open access: yes
Conditionally autoregressive (CAR) models have been extensively used for the analysis of spatial data in diverse areas, such as demography, economy, epidemiology and geography, as models for both latent and observed variables.

CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

A Residual-Based LM Test for Fractional Cointegration [PDF]

open access: yes
Nonstationary fractionally integrated time series may possibly be fractionally cointegrated. In this paper we propose a test for the null hypothesis of no cointegration.
