Residual log-periodogram inference for long-run relationships. [PDF]
We assume that some consistent estimator of an equilibrium relation between non-stationary series integrated of order d(0.5,1.5) is used to compute residuals (or differences thereof).

Bounded sine hyperbolic distribution with applications to real datasets
In this paper, a novel hyperbolic trigonometric probability distribution with a bounded support on (0,1) named the bounded sine hyperbolic (BSH) distribution is proposed. It has a simple closed form cumulative distribution function (CDF).

EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Binomial Poisson Ailamujia model with statistical properties and application
In this study, an improved extension of the Poisson-Ailamujia distribution is introduced. The new distribution was derived using a binomial mixing approach, and the new model is named the “Binomial Poisson-Ailamujia (Bin-PA)” distribution. Some important

Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Maximum likelihood fitting using ordinary least squares algorithms
In this paper a general algorithm is provided for maximum likelihood fitting of deterministic models subject to Gaussian-distributed residual variation (including any type of non-singular covariance).

Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

Does the Solow Residual for Korea Reflect Pure Technology Shocks? [PDF]
This study investigates the relationship between the measured Solow residual and demand side variables for the Korean economy. The measured Solow residuals are shown to be Granger-caused by some demand side variables such as exports, M1, and government ...

A New Hybrid Class of Distributions: Model Characteristics and Stress–Strength Reliability Studies
This study proposes a generalized family of distributions to enhance flexibility in modeling complex engineering and biomedical data. The framework unifies existing models and improves reliability analysis in both engineering and biomedical applications ...
