A new vertical power MOSFET with extremely reduced on resistance and high switching speed with multilayer structure

open access: yes, 2001
A vertical power MOSFET’s whose n-drift region is stacked by alternate pn structure named as MULTILAYER POWER MOSFET has been proposed for high voltage application with extremely low on-resistance.

Lyapunov-based Switching to Mitigate Antimicrobial Resistance

open access: yes, 2020
International audienceDrug resistant pathogens are a global public health threat and their control have become a challenging task. In this paper, a mathematical model which describes the general dynamics of microbial resistance is employed.

Derivation and characterization of retinal pigment epithelium from urine‐derived iPSCs

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Age‐related macular degeneration causes vision loss via RPE dysfunction and loss. Traditional iPSC therapies rely on invasive biopsies, limiting scalability. Here, we utilize urine‐derived stem cells as an accessible source to generate u‐iPSCs, successfully differentiated into pigmented RPE. This “Urine‐to‐Retina” platform provides a promising path for

Compliance-free, analog RRAM devices based on SnOx

open access: yesScientific Reports
Brain-inspired resistive random-access memory (RRAM) technology is anticipated to outperform conventional flash memory technology due to its performance, high aerial density, low power consumption, and cost. For RRAM devices, metal oxides are exceedingly

Facile fabrication of complex networks of memristive devices

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2017
We describe the memristive properties of cluster-assembled gold films. We show that resistive switching is observed in pure metallic nanostructured films at room temperature and atmospheric pressure, in response to applied voltage inputs.

Time‐restricted feeding prior to Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection reduces tissue CD4+ T cells with limited impact on bacterial clearance

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐restricted feeding (TRF) in mice increased liver fatty acid oxidation and decreased fatty acid biosynthesis. These alterations persisted when TRF was discontinued and the host was infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Pre‐exposure to TRF did not alter tissue (lung and spleen) mycobacterial burden but significantly reduced CD3+ T cells in lungs

Reproducible Resistance Switching in Ni/NiO/Ni Trilayer

open access: yes, 2007
The resistance random access memory is attracting much attention as a high-density and high-speed non-volatile memory, having large resistance switching ration and good affinity with the conventional CMOS technologies.

Guiding AlphaFold to predict how Munc13‐1 opens Syntaxin‐1

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The syntaxin‐1 Habc‐domain (orange), linker (pink) and SNARE motif (yellow) form a closed conformation that binds to Munc18‐1 (violet) and is opened by the Munc13‐1 MUN domain (cyan) to form the SNARE complex that triggers neurotransmitter release.
