We present some resolvent estimates of elliptic differential and finite-element operators in pairs of function spaces, for which the first space in a pair is endowed with stronger norm. In this work we deal with estimates in (Lebesgue, Lebesgue), (Hölder,

This paper investigates the amplification and propagation of swirl fluctuations in turbulent swirling flows using resolvent analysis. Swirl fluctuations have been repeatedly observed in acoustically excited swirl flows and play a significant role in ...

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Local decay of waves on asymptotically flat stationary space-times [PDF]
In this article we study the pointwise decay properties of solutions to the wave equation on a class of stationary asymptotically flat backgrounds in three space dimensions.

In this study, we present the structure of AcrIE8.1, a previously uncharacterized anti‐CRISPR protein that inhibits the type I‐E CRISPR‐Cas system. Through a combination of structural and biochemical analyses, we demonstrate that AcrIE8.1 directly binds to the Cas11 subunit of the Cascade complex to inhibit the CRISPR‐Cas system.

Analysis of time-resolved fluorescence anisotropy decays
We discuss the analysis of time-correlated single photon counting measurements of fluorescence anisotropy. Particular attention was paid to the statistical properties of the data. The methods used previously to analyze these experiments were examined and a new method was proposed in which parallel- and perpendicular-polarized fluorescence curves were ...

An intracellular transporter mitigates the CO2‐induced decline in iron content in Arabidopsis shoots
This study identifies a gene encoding a transmembrane protein, MIC, which contributes to the reduction of shoot Fe content observed in plants under elevated CO2. MIC is a putative Fe transporter localized to the Golgi and endosomal compartments. Its post‐translational regulation in roots may represent a potential target for improving plant nutrition ...
