Scaling law in the Standard Map critical function. Interpolating hamiltonian and frequency map analysis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
We study the behaviour of the Standard map critical function in a neighbourhood of a fixed resonance, that is the scaling law at the fixed resonance. We prove that for the fundamental resonance the scaling law is linear.

Resonant Nucleation [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2005
We investigate the role played by fast quenching on the decay of metastable (or false vacuum) states. Instead of the exponentially-slow decay rate per unit volume, $ _{\rm HN} \sim \exp[-E_b/k_BT]$ ($E_b$ is the free energy of the critical bubble), predicted by Homogeneous Nucleation theory, we show that under fast enough quenching the decay rate is a

Cerebrospinal Fluid Liquid Biopsy Enables Targeted Therapy Without Tissue Diagnosis in Pediatric Low‐Grade Gliomas With BRAF V600E Mutation

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We present two pediatric cases of pediatric low‐grade gliomas (PLGG) with BRAF V600E mutations diagnosed and monitored using cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) liquid biopsy analyzed via digital droplet PCR (ddPCR), without tissue biopsy. Both patients were treated with dabrafenib and trametinib and monitored through clinical assessments, magnetic ...

Observation of an oxonium ion intermediate in ethanol dehydration to ethene on zeolite

open access: yesNature Communications, 2019
Zeolite-catalyzed dehydration of ethanol offers promising perspectives for the sustainable production of ethene, while the initial step of ethanol dehydration is still unclear.

THz spectroscopy in the pseudo-Kagome system Cu3Bi(SeO3)2O2Br

open access: yes, 2012
Terahertz (THz) transmission spectra have been measured as function of temperature and magnetic field on single crystals of Cu3Bi(SeO3)2O2Br. In the time-domain THz spectra without magnetic field, two resonance absorptions are observed below the magnetic

Clinical recommendations for cardiovascular magnetic resonance mapping of T1, T2, T2* and extracellular volume: A consensus statement by the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR) endorsed by the European Association for Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI)

open access: yesJournal of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance, 2017
Parametric mapping techniques provide a non-invasive tool for quantifying tissue alterations in myocardial disease in those eligible for cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR).

A Systematic Review of Evidence on the Clinical Effectiveness of Surveillance Imaging in Children With Medulloblastoma and Ependymoma

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Surveillance imaging aims to detect tumour relapse before symptoms develop, but it's unclear whether earlier detection of relapse leads to better outcomes in children and young people (CYP) with medulloblastoma and ependymoma. This systematic review aims to identify relevant literature to determine the efficacy of surveillance magnetic ...

Radiomics Nomogram Improves the Prediction of Epilepsy in Patients With Gliomas

open access: yesFrontiers in Oncology, 2022
PurposeTo investigate the association between clinic-radiological features and glioma-associated epilepsy (GAE), we developed and validated a radiomics nomogram for predicting GAE in WHO grade II~IV gliomas.MethodsThis retrospective study consecutively ...

Gaussian Sum-Rules and Prediction of Resonance Properties [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
Techniques for using Gaussian QCD sum-rules to predict hadronic resonance properties are developed for single-resonance and two-resonance phenomenological models, and criteria are developed for determining which of these models is required for analyzing ...
