Coherence assisted resonance with sub-lifetime-limited linewidth [PDF]

We demonstrate a novel approach to obtain resonance linewidth below that limited by coherence lifetime. Cross correlation between induced intensity modulation of two lasers coupling the target resonance exhibits a narrow spectrum.
