Redox Cascade in Chicken Skeletal Muscle: SELENOT Suppression in Selenium Deficiency Triggers Disulfidptosis via mtROS‐NADPH Dysregulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Se deficiency downregulates SELENOT, disrupting mitochondrial function and elevating mtROS to induce glucose metabolic reprogramming, NADPH depletion, cysteine accumulation, and disulfidptosis‐mediated actin cytoskeleton collapse in chicken skeletal muscle.

Whole-genome resequencing of major populations revealed domestication-related genes in yaks

open access: yesBMC Genomics
Background The yak is a symbol of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and provides important basic resources for human life on the plateau. Domestic yaks have been subjected to strong artificial selection and environmental pressures over the long-term ...

Nice Resource Reservations in Linux [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Computing systems are becoming more and more complex and powerful every year. It is nowadays not uncommon to run several server applications on the same physical platform. This gives rise to a need for resource reservation techniques, so that administrators may prioritize some applications, or customers, over others.

Operando TEM Study of Partial Oxidation of Methane Over Pd Nanoparticles

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This operando TEM study reveals that Pd nanoparticles (NPs) catalyze the partial oxidation of methane (POM) by transforming into smaller, highly dynamic mixed‐phase Pd–PdO NPs, with active sites located at the interface between the two phases. Here, metallic Pd facilitates CH4 dehydrogenation, while PdO promotes C oxidation.

CDH1 Orchestrates Anabolic Events to Promote Cell Cycle Initiation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Cell proliferation requires the integration of cell cycle and anabolic signals. G1‐phase regulator CDH1 coordinates anabolism through the CDH1‐VHL‐AARS2/HIF1α axis, while CDH1‐accumulated R5P is sensed by TKTL1 to facilitate CDH1 degradation and cell cycle initiation, constituting a CDH1‐centered regulatory circuit.

Tumor‐Targeted FABP5/STING Cascade Promote Radiofrequency Ablation Induced Ferroptosis and Intratumoral Immune Rewiring in Hepatocellular Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Targeted FABP5 co‐delivery nanoparticles amplify RFA‐induced ferroptosis and intratumoral immune rewiring via STING/TBK1 pathway activation in HCC. The pH‐responsive lipid nanoshell was integrated with cyclic RGD peptide (cRGD) and red blood cell membrane (RBCM), and encapsulated with superparamagnetic iron oxide (SPIO) and sgFABP5 to construct FS@RBCM/
