The Mexico City Policy in US Development Policy and Its Backlash‐Frontlash‐Logic

open access: yesPublic Administration and Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The Mexico City Policy provides for the discontinuation of U.S. government funding for foreign non‐governmental organizations (NGOs) that provide legal abortion services. While Republican administrations have repeatedly pushed for the introduction of the Mexico City Policy after their re‐election, those regulations have been rescinded by ...

Identification of Novel Interacting Proteins of FUZ and GPR161

open access: yesPROTEOMICS, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Protein–protein interactions are central to the dynamic regulation of signaling pathways and provide critical insight into the cellular mechanisms underlying human disease. Our previous study demonstrated biochemical and genetic interactions between FUZ and GPR161 in sonic hedgehog signaling during spinal neural tube development. In this study,

Current Cell/Organoid and Animal Models for Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis

open access: yesPortal Hypertension &Cirrhosis, EarlyView.
Primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) is a chronic cholestatic liver disease with limited therapeutic options and a marked risk of progression to biliary fibrosis, cirrhosis, and malignancy. Progress in PSC research has been hindered by the lack of models that faithfully recapitulate the complex biliary microenvironment and disease heterogeneity ...

COX5A promotes cell progression and cisplatin‐resistance by alleviating mitochondrial dysfunction in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma

open access: yesPrecision Medical Sciences, EarlyView.
COX5A promotes cell progression and cisplatin‐resistance and alleviates mitochondrial dysfunction. ISG15 shows a reversing role with COX5A. Targeting the COX5A‐mediated mitochondrial metabolic pathway may offer a novel therapeutic approach to enhance cisplatin sensitivity in HNSCC.
