The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1951 A reinforced concrete reverberation chamber has been constructed with diffusing cylinders of random size cast in the ceiling and walls. Energy loss in the empty chamber is low because the rigid, heavily enameled walls have a low absorption coefficient and the attenuation loss in the air is moderate for such a small volume.

Adipocyte‐Derived Leptolin Enhances Energy Expenditure and Prevents Obesity
Advanced Science, EarlyView.We identified a novel adipokine, which we named leptolin. In humans, leptolin levels in white adipose tissue were positively correlated with exercise and negatively associated with body mass index. We observed elevated leptolin in serum from athletes and lower leptolin in serum from obese individuals.
