Frequency characterization of reverberation chambers [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility, 2002
A series of measurements to investigate the modal structure of a reverberation chamber were conducted at the Dahlgren Division of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Virginia. These measurements were Phase I of a project to determine the frequency dependent characteristics of the fields in a reverberation chamber.

Dual Physiological Barriers Bypassed by a Silk‐Based Supramolecular Protein Delivery Platform for Neuroinflammation Mitigation in Alzheimer's Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A supramolecular nanocomplex based on phenolic‐modified silk sericin is developed to deliver antioxidant enzymes across the blood–brain barrier and escape lysosomal degradation. This dual‐barrier‐crossing system reduces neuroinflammation and improves cognitive performance in Alzheimer's disease mouse model, offering a promising strategy for protein ...

Electrostatic Self‐Assembly Induced Nest‐Like MXene Networks on Fabric for Ultra‐Broadband Flexible Absorption

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this study, an electrostatically self‐assembled WPU‐MXene@FC flexible fabric constructs a “nest‐like” structure on fibers, building construct MXene multiple loss paths, achieving ultra‐wideband absorption of 25.3–1200 GHz in a thickness of 1.8 mm, while also exhibiting superhydrophobicity, acid and alkali resistance, and bending resistance ...

Random Sound Field in Reverberation Chambers

open access: yesThe Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1959
A series of experiments were performed to compare the efficiency of different diffusing devices in producing a completely random sound field in a reverberation chamber and the effectiveness of some of the methods for judging whether a sound field is completely random.

NET‐DNA Activates the ANXA2/TMEM215/BiP Axis to Promote Mitophagy‐Mediated Anoikis Resistance in Endometriosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
NET‐DNA is enriched during early endometriotic lesion establishment and drives anoikis resistance by promoting an ANXA2–TMEM215–BiP axis. This pathway strengthens ER–mitochondria contacts, enhances PINK1/Parkin‐associated mitophagy, preserves mitochondrial homeostasis, and supports ectopic stromal cell survival, thereby facilitating lesion persistence ...

Parametric Testing of Metasurface Stirrers for Metasurfaced Reverberation Chambers

open access: yesSensors, 2019
In this paper, the correlation coefficients and the total scattering cross sections (TSCSs) for different types of metasurfaced stirrers and the traditional metallic stirrer, and the effects on field uniformity when such stirrers are used in ...

T2T Genome Assembly and Multi‐Omics Data Reveal Terrestrial Adaptation and Mucus Biosynthesis in Tropical Leatherleaf Slug (Laevicaulis alte)

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A gap‐free genome assembly and multi‐omics comparison of the terrestrial slug Laevichaulis alte with an aquatic relative reveal that expansion of the VEGF family orchestrates mucus production, lipid metabolism, and immune defense—highlighting key molecular innovations for conquering life on land.

On the Field Statistics in Nested Reverberation Chambers

open access: yesIEEE Access
We study the normalized field statistics inside nested reverberation chambers (NRCs), through the analysis of the shielding effectiveness of enclosures and material samples. The accurate knowledge of field statistics allows to improve the estimation of probability distributions for high field values inside electrically large enclosures.

Adipocyte Myoglobin Is a Determinant of Energy Expenditure and a Potential Target to Limit Obesity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Myoglobin, known as a muscle oxygen‐carrying protein, is shown to play a key role in fat cells that burn energy. Loss of myoglobin reduces the body's ability to generate heat and increases obesity risk, while restoring it improves metabolism. The study identifies myoglobin as a regulator of fat burning and a potential target to enhance energy ...
