Photoswitchable Conductive Metal–Organic Frameworks
A conductive material where the conductivity can be modulated remotely by irradiation with light is presented. It is based on films of conductive metal–organic framework type Cu3(HHTP)2 with embedded photochromic molecules such as azobenzene, diarylethene, spiropyran, and hexaarylbiimidazole in the pores.

The layer‐by‐layer (LbL) assembly of coordination solids, enabled by the surface‐mounted metal‐organic framework (SURMOF) platform, is on the cusp of generating the organic counterpart of the epitaxy of inorganics. The programmable and sequential SURMOF protocol, optimized by machine learning (ML), is suited for accessing high‐quality thin films of ...

Selective Role of the Putamen in Serial Reversal Learning in the Marmoset
Fronto-striatal circuitry involving the orbitofrontal cortex has been identified as mediating successful reversal of stimulus-outcome contingencies. The region of the striatum that most contributes to reversal learning remains unclear, with studies in ...

Reversal Learning by Fornix-Transected Monkeys
Experiment 1 examined visual reversal learning and in Experiment 2 monkeys were trained to criterion in a serial reversal set between “FR” and “DRO” response requirements. In both cases impairments were observed in fornix-transected monkeys. These results are discussed in connection with previous findings that in serial reversals damage to the ...

Biofabrication aims at providing innovative technologies and tools for the fabrication of tissue‐like constructs for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications. By integrating multiple biofabrication technologies, such as 3D (bio) printing with fiber fabrication methods, it would be more realistic to reconstruct native tissue's ...

Reversal Learning Performance in the XY∗ Mouse Model of Klinefelter and Turner Syndromes
Klinefelter syndrome (KS; 47, XXY) and Turner syndrome (TS; 45, XO) are caused by two relatively common sex chromosome aneuploidies. These conditions are associated with an increased odds of neuropsychiatric disorders, including attention deficit ...

Dopaminergic and Non-Dopaminergic Value Systems in Conditioning and Outcome-Specific Revaluation [PDF]
Animals are motivated to choose environmental options that can best satisfy current needs. To explain such choices, this paper introduces the MOTIVATOR (Matching Objects To Internal Values Triggers Option Revaluations) neural model.
