Reversible femtosecond laser-assisted myopia correction: a non-human primate study of lenticule re-implantation after refractive lenticule extraction. [PDF]
LASIK (laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis) is a common laser refractive procedure for myopia and astigmatism, involving permanent removal of anterior corneal stromal tissue by excimer ablation beneath a hinged flap.

The utility of MRI radiological biomarkers in determining intracranial pressure
Intracranial pressure (ICP) is a physiological parameter that conventionally requires invasive monitoring for accurate measurement. Utilising multivariate predictive models, we sought to evaluate the utility of non-invasive, widely accessible MRI ...

Background The paper examines Co(II)–amino acid–imidazole systems (where amino acid = l-α-amino acid: alanine, asparagine, histidine) which, when in aqueous solutions, activate and reversibly take up dioxygen, while maintaining the structural scheme of ...

Errors in the method of line-reversal
It is shown that with a favourable experimental design the random error in the temperature measurement of hot gases with the method of line-reversal is of the order of 1 deg. K at about 2500°K. A number of Systematic errors, each of the order of 10 deg.K, are considered.

Robust Reversible Watermarking Algorithm for Color Images Based on Trinion Exponential Fourier Moments [PDF]
Existing color image watermarking algorithms are applied between channels that are independent of each other, ignoring the intrinsic correlation between the channels.

On reconstruction of signed permutations distorted by reversal errors
AbstractThe problem of reconstructing signed permutations on n elements from their erroneous patterns distorted by reversal errors is considered in this paper. A reversal is the operation of taking a segment of the signed permutation, reversing it, and flipping the signs of its elements.
