Analysis of round off errors with reversibility test as a dynamical indicator [PDF]
We compare the divergence of orbits and the reversibility error for discrete time dynamical systems. These two quantities are used to explore the behavior of the global error induced by round off in the computation of orbits.

We study the backward problem with time-dependent coefficient which is a severely ill-posed problem. We regularize this problem by combining quasi-boundary value method and quasi-reversibility method and then obtain sharp error estimate between the exact

On Error Detection and Error Synchronization of Reversible Variable-Length Codes
Reversible variable-length codes (RVLCs) are not only prefix-free but also suffix-free codes. Due to the additional suffix-free condition, RVLCs are usually nonexhaustive codes. When a bit error occurs in a sentence from a nonexhaustive RVLC, it is possible that the corrupted sentence is not decodable. The error is said to be detected in this case.

Mammary gland reversibility fails in Rac1−/− involuting glands.
(A-F) HE stain of WT and Rac1−/− glands at lactation day 7 (A, B) and involuted for 48 h and then resuckled for 24 h (C-F). WT glands (C) resume a lactation morphology while Rac1−/− (D-F) show an involution phenotype. (E, F) show suckled areas in Rac1−/−

Reversibility Error of Image Interpolation Methods: Definition and Improvements
International audienceThere is no universal procedure in image processing for evaluating the quality and performance of an interpolation method. In this work, we introduce a new quantity: the reversibility error.

Color Image Reversible Data Hiding With Double-Layer Embedding
Reversible data hiding (RDH) in color image is an important topic of data hiding. This paper presents an efficient RDH algorithm for color image via double-layer embedding.
