Analysis of Reversibility and Critical Depth in Quantum Computers under Noise via Circuit Simulation
This research aims to: 1) simulate the time-reversibility behavior in chaotic quantum systems (Ising model), 2) analyze the quantitative relationship between noise levels (ε) and system sizes (N), and 3) propose the critical depth criterion for ...

Multi-Conditional Constraint Generative Adversarial Network-Based MR Imaging from CT Scan Data
Magnetic resonance (MR) imaging is an important computer-aided diagnosis technique with rich pathological information. The factor of physical and physiological constraint seriously affects the applicability of that technique.

Numerical verification of the microscopic time reversibility of Newton's equations of motion: Fighting exponential divergence [PDF]
Numerical solutions to Newtons equations of motion for chaotic self gravitating systems of more than 2 bodies are often regarded to be irreversible. This is due to the exponential growth of errors introduced by the integration scheme and the numerical ...

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Time reversal in thermoacoustic tomography—an error estimate [PDF]
The time reversal method in thermoacoustic tomography is used for approximating the initial pressure inside a biological object using measurements of the pressure wave made on a surface surrounding the object. This article presents error estimates for the time reversal method in the cases of variable, non-trapping sound speeds.

An assumption usually made when developing kinetic models for the gating of ion channels is that the transitions among the various states involved in the gating obey microscopic reversibility.

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...
