EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

IMPDH inhibition enhances cytarabine efficacy in SAMHD1‐expressing leukaemia cells via guanine nucleotide depletion

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Calculation of the Reversible Permeability of Gapped Cores from Measured Ring Core Data

open access: yes, 1997
In ferrite data books the reversible permeability for small excitation levels is usually given vs. external dc magnetic field for different values of the effective permeability. To determine these curves the incremental permeability has to be measured on

A Matrix-Theoretic Approach to the Construction of Reversible DNA Codes Over F₄²t

open access: yesIEEE Access
Let $n,k$ , and t be the positive integers. The primary aim of this paper is to introduce a new approach for the construction of reversible and reversible DNA codes using the concept of double-reflected matrices of any matrices over a commutative ring ...

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Kinetic Analysis of Genipin Degradation in Aqueous Solution

open access: yesNatural Product Communications, 2010
Degradation of genipin (GP), a low toxicity natural protein crosslinking agent, in aqueous solution was monitored by HPLC at various pH levels. Degradation of GP was consistent with a mechanism consisting of a first order reaction with a reversible first

Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.
