Formation of nanostructured metallic glass thin films upon sputtering
Morphology evolution of the multicomponent metallic glass film obtained by radio frequency (RF) magnetron sputtering was investigated in the present work. Two modes of metallic glass sputtering were distinguished: smooth film mode and clustered film mode.

A magneto‐ionic security‐by‐materials‐design strategy exploits voltage‐driven N3– migration in selectively contacted FeCoN dots, creating reconfigurable sub‐15 nm ferromagnetic sublayers with deterministic and/or probabilistic (single‐domain↔vortex) states, voltage‐tunable probabilities and fully stochastic orientation/chirality.

Fabrication of oriented hydroxyapatite film by RF magnetron sputtering
Hydroxyapatite (HAp) is compatible with bone tissue and is used mainly as a bone prosthetic material, especially as the coating of implants. Oriented HAp film is expected to be a high-quality epitaxial scaffold of the neonatal bone.

Porous Ultralow‐κ sp2‐Bonded Boron Nitride Thin Films as Copper Diffusion Barriers
Porous sp2‐bonded boron nitride (p‐BN) thin films with an ultralow dielectric constant (κ = 1.77) are directly grown on Si substrates via RF magnetron sputtering. The films feature uniform nanopores (1.85 nm), high mechanical stability, hydrophobicity, and excellent Cu diffusion barrier performance even at 3 nm thickness, offering a promising solution ...
