Reactive high power impulse magnetron sputtering
Reactive magnetron sputtering is essential in many industrial processes where it is applied to deposit compound films or coatings. Reactive sputtering is attractive because a range of compounds can be prepared from a low-cost metal target by addition of ...

Transmission electron microscopy reveals that the formation of planar defects in Au–Pd–Pt–Ru CCSS thin films depends on Ru content, which in turn influences hydrogen evolution reaction electrocatalytic activity. As the Ru content increases, the density of nanotwins initially rises; with further Ru addition, stacking faults form.

High‐Temperature Magnetic Field Mapping Using a Single‐Crystal Diamond MEMS Resonator Array
A single‐crystal diamond MEMS resonator array enables magnetic‐field reconstruction with millisecond response, nanotesla level magnetic noise, and stable operation up to 573 K. Two‐ and three‐dimensional magnetic field mapping are demonstrated using ΔEeffect sensing, highlighting the potential of diamond MEMS technology for hightemperature magnetic ...

Comparative studies on Mo-Cr-N and Al-Cr-N coatings obtained by PVD dual magnetron sputtering [PDF]
Recently, several studies have shown that the addition of a secondary element likes Al, Si, etc. to nitride and carbide binary systems such as Ti–N and Cr–N improved their structural and mechanical properties and also their thermal stability.

In this work, we present a bile‐based memristor hardware framework that enables direct, label‐free identification of cholelithiasis and gallbladder cancer at the device level. The Ag/bile/FTO memristor features stable resistive switching and disease‐specific electrical responses, providing a conceptual foundation for circuits and an integrated ERCP ...
