Comparison of RGB-D sensors for 3D reconstruction

The use of low-cost RGB-D sensors became popular with the release of Microsoft Kinect V1, in 2010. From that time on, different companies such as ASUS, Orbbec, and Intel have developed their solutions for capturing 3D data. This work proposes an analysis of how well 10 RGB-D sensors perform while applied to a 3D reconstruction task.

Gesture recognition for moving RGB-D sensor

Many studies have been conducted to achieve natural interaction between robots and humans. Except for a few works, however, most gesture recognition algorithms are designed with an assumption that the sensor does not move. To resolve this problem, we propose an algorithm that can robustly recognize gestures while the robot is moving.
