Scientific analysis of Anchomanes difformis roots confirms significant nutraceutical potential, containing high levels of carbohydrates, proteins, and essential minerals. Phytochemical screening revealed antioxidants such as phenols and flavonoids, and although the extracts effectively lowered plasma glucose, safety testing showed dose‐dependent risks.

Nitric oxide promoted rhizome induction in Cymbidium shoot buds under magnesium deficiency
Cymbidium shoot buds grown under Mg2+ deficiency without naphthalene acetic acid (NAA) showed knotted appearance. Ultrastructure of the cortical cells showed a progressive disorganization and disintegration of chloroplast membranes.
