Predator–Microbe Dynamics Inform Strategies for Robust Synthetic Community Assembly
This Review introduces ecological principles of predator–prey interactions as a new dimension in SynCom design. By linking microbial defence traits, encounter dynamics, and adaptive buffering, it outlines a framework for constructing predator‐resistant synthetic communities with enhanced resilience, stability, and functional performance under natural ...

Intestinal mucormycosis in a neonate: A case report and review
Mucormycosis is a fungal disease that may rarely invade the gastrointestinal tract of newborn, resulting in high morbidity and mortality. Clinically, it may be indistinguishable from the neonatal necrotizing enterocolitis and the diagnosis is usually ...

ABSTRACT Structured lipids (SLs) have attracted growing industrial interest due to their associated health benefits. Lipases, as highly selective and versatile biocatalysts, are central to the sustainable synthesis of SLs attributed to their ability to operate under mild reaction conditions. However, the limited operational stability of lipases remains

Extracts of Hormophysa triquetra showed antifungal activity with marked hyphal deformities in Fusarium oxysporum and Alternaria alternata. Light microscopy and SEM confirmed structural alterations despite unchanged radial growth. Cucumber assays validated reduced disease incidence, linked to fatty‐acid–rich metabolites detected by GC–MS.
