Stimuli‐responsive nanostructured hydrogen sulfide donors for enhanced cancer treatments

open access: yesSmart Molecules, EarlyView.
Three typical kinds of stimuli‐responsive nanostructured hydrogen sulfide (H2S) donors are reviewed. The nanostructures ensure precise delivery of H2S to the lesion site and regulate the release behavior. The H2S‐based gas therapy has been used to synergize with other cancer treatment modalities, achieving enhanced efficacy while reducing side effects.

Transforming Paper into Plasmonic Sensors: One‐Step Fabrication of High‐Enhancement SERS Nanosubstrates via Surface Energy Control

open access: yesSmall Methods, EarlyView.
Cellulose paper is transformed into a high‐performance plasmonic sensor through a process called SILVERED, which involves single‐step vapor deposition onto fluorosilanized fibers. Surface‐energy contrast drives uniform silver nanoparticle growth with sub‐10 nm hot‐spot gaps, achieving 2 pM detection of rhodamine B.

Emergent Innovation in Systemic Programme Design: Retrospective Reflections on the Development of a Student‐Centred Masters in Systems Thinking

open access: yesSystems Research and Behavioral Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Our theory of education, based on a systemic understanding of the subjective and intersubjective construction of knowledge, is that students are motivated to study what is most meaningful to them. Meaningfulness is grounded in the students' prior experiences, which are highly diverse.

Integration of Micro‐CT and XRF Mapping for Multimodal 3D Analysis of Polychrome Wooden Artifacts

open access: yesX-Ray Spectrometry, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Over the past 5 years, computer applications have become crucial to archeological research. Since the 1990s, the focus has transitioned from data management tools to the development of virtual models. Recently, digital documentation of cultural heritage has gained considerable focus, with 3D modeling of objects.
