ALDOA‐depletion‐mediated glycolytic reprogramming promotes autophagy‐mediated degradation of MBOAT2, increasing the ratio of phospholipids containing pro‐ferroptotic polyunsaturated fatty acids over anti‐ferroptotic monounsaturated fatty acids, and thus sensitizing cancer cells to ferroptosis.

The “gut‐joint axis” in knee synovitis is uncovered. Integrated multi‐omics studies are conducted in two independent osteoarthritis cohorts. Synovitis is characterized an increased F/B ratio, as well as alterations of 3‐HIA, geranic acid, and TWEAK. Upregulated TWEAK receptor is found in high‐grade synovitis, and inversely correlated with lower TWEAK ...

METTL5 Enables Immune Evasion of Liver Cancer via Chemokine mRNA Translation Regulation
METTL5 reshapes the tumor immune microenvironment through ribosome 18S rRNA m6A modification to regulate the translation of chemokine mRNA. Targeting METTL5‐mediated immunosuppression unleashes anti‐tumor immunity and improves the efficacy of anti‐PD‐1 therapy.

The influence of ribosomal proteins on the action of ribosome-inactivating proteins [PDF]
Ribosome-inactivating proteins (RIPs) are produced by many plants and inhibit ribosome function through an N-glycosidase activity that removes a single adenine residue from a universally-conserved stem-loop structure close to the 3' end of the large subunit rRNA.
