A single‐cell atlas of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma development reveals progressive ductal‐fibroblast‐immune crosstalk. Tumor‐derived LAMB3 drives the formation of immunosuppressive LRRC15+ fibroblasts through the ITGB1/FAK/MAPK/FOSL2 signaling. Glycolytic reprogramming upregulates LAMB3 and correlates with LRRC15+ fibroblast enrichment.

RNA:protein ratio of the unicellular organism as a characteristic of phosphorous and nitrogen stoichiometry and of the cellular requirement of ribosomes for protein synthesis [PDF]
Background Mean phosphorous:nitrogen (P:N) ratios and relationships of P:N ratios with the growth rate of organisms indicate a surprising similarity among and within microbial species, plants, and insect herbivores.

Ribosomes and ribosomal RNA as chaperones for folding of proteins
Provocative recent reports indicate that the large subunits of either prokaryotic or eukaryotic ribosomes have the capacity to promote refolding of denatured enzymes.Salt-washed Escherichia coli ribosomes are shown to promote refolding of denatured rhodanese.

UCHL3 Regulates Subgenomic Flaviviral RNA Condensates to Promote Virus Propagation
ABSTRACT Flavivirus subgenomic RNAs (sfRNAs) antagonise antiviral defences, yet how sfRNAs are organized and maintained in cells remains poorly understood. Here we identify ubiquitin C‐terminal hydrolase L3 (UCHL3) as a post‐translational regulator of flavivirus sfRNA stability and function.

Charakterisierung eines Protein:RNA-Komplexes : die Funktion von ribosomal binding factor A [PDF]
In this thesis the three dimensional solution strucutre of the RbfA protein from Thermotoga maritima was solved using multidimensional heteronuclear NMR spectroscopy. The RbfA protein binds to the helix I region of the 16S rRNA. To gain insights into the

A twist in the tail : SHAPE mapping of long-range interactions and structural rearrangements of RNA elements involved in HCV replication [PDF]
The RNA structure and long-range interactions of the SL9266 cis-acting replication element located within the NS5B coding region of hepatitis C virus (HCV) were determined using selective 2′-hydroxyl acylation analysed by primer extension.

Ribosomal RNA Processing and Ribosome Biogenesis in Eukaryotes [PDF]
AbstractIn eukaryotes nearly 500 rRNAs, ribosomal proteins, snoRNAs and trans‐acting factors contribute to ribosome biogenesis. After more than 30 years of intense research, the incredible complexities of nucleolar function are revealed but details often remain unclear. Here we review this progress and the many intriguing questions which remain.

Amuc_1473 Links Gut Microbes to Skeletal Homeostasis and Counteracts Multifactorial Osteoporosis
Amuc_1473, a previously uncharacterized protein enriched in Akkermansia muciniphila‐derived extracellular vesicles, is identified as a gut–bone messenger that promotes osteogenesis and inhibits osteoclastogenesis by engaging transcriptional and translational regulators in bone cells.

SecM-stalled ribosomes adopt an altered geometry at the peptidyl transferase center [PDF]
As nascent polypeptide chains are synthesized, they pass through a tunnel in the large ribosomal subunit. Interaction between specific nascent chains and the ribosomal tunnel is used to induce translational stalling for the regulation of gene expression.
