MODELING AND ANALYSIS OF DYNAMICS IN BEARING SYSTEM OF DRILLING, MILLING AND BORING MACHINE WITH MONO-COLUMN

open access: yesНаука и техника, 2015
FEM-analysis of dynamics in the bearing system of a heavy-duty machine tool has been carried out in the paper. This is a prospective variant for a large-size multi-purpose machine tool with a horizontal sliding ram.

Screening and epitope characterization of Nidogen‐2‐specific nanobodies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Camel immunization and phage display were employed to generate high‐affinity VHH nanobodies against Nidogen‐2. After library construction, biopanning, ELISA screening, sequencing, and recombinant expression, selected nanobodies were purified and characterized, leading to the preliminary exploration of a nanobody‐based sandwich ELISA for specific ...

RESONANCE BEHAVIOUR ANALYSIS OF CARRYING SYSTEM IN HEAVY MACHINE WITH TRAVELING-COLUMN

open access: yesНаука и техника, 2015
A finite elements method (FEM)-analysis has been carried out with the purpose to study dynamics of carrying system in a machine tool of unique height.

Charge-transport properties of 4-(1,2,2-triphenylvinyl)aniline salicylaldehyde hydrazone: tight-packing induced molecular `hardening'

open access: yesIUCrJ, 2017
Based on first-principles calculations, the relationship between molecular packing and charge-transport parameters has been investigated and analysed in detail.

On Horospherical Rigidity

open access: yesInternational Mathematics Research Notices
Abstract We prove that on a closed negatively curved manifold of dimension greater than two, a horosphere endowed with the induced Riemannian metric cannot have non-negative scalar curvature unless the manifold is real hyperbolic, in which case all horospheres are flat.

Large‐scale bidirectional arrayed genetic screens identify OXR1 and EMC4 as modifiers of αSynuclein aggregation

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Quasiconformal Rigidity of Negatively Curved Three Manifolds

open access: yes, 2002
In this paper we study the rigidity of infinite volume 3-manifolds with sectional curvature $-b^2\le K\le -1$ and finitely generated fundamental group.

Molecular dynamics simulations of positively selected codons in FcγRI reveal novel biochemical binding properties

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...

Rigidity of Holomorphically Projective Mappings of Kähler Spaces with Finite Complete Geodesics

open access: yesMathematics
In this work, we consider holomorphically projective mappings of (pseudo-) Kähler spaces. We determine the conditions for finite complete geodesics that must be satisfied for the mappings to be trivial; i.e., these spaces are rigid.
