Total laboratory automation of routine hemostasis t esting. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
The aim of this study was to assess whether preanalytical management of coagulation samples through an open total laboratory automation system may impair the reliability of routine hemostasis tests as compared with loading of centrifuged plasma specimens

TRAF6 Lactylation in Glycolytic Macrophages Drives NF‐κB Signaling and M1 Polarization During Orthodontic Tooth Movement

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Schematic diagram showing compressive stress triggers glycolytic reprogramming and lactate accumulation in macrophages. Lactate mediates TRAF6 lactylation at K171/K180 dual sites, which enhances its K63‐linked ubiquitination to activate the NF‑κB pathway and promote M1 polarization. This cascade drives orthodontic tooth movement (OTM) and alveolar bone

Structural Polymorphism of polyG Inclusions Revealed by In Situ Cryo‐Electron Tomography

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Correlative cryo‐electron tomography in primary cortical neurons and NIID mouse brain tissue reveals that polyG inclusions are interconnected ribbon‐like assemblies rather than canonical amyloid fibrils. Multiple compartment‐specific ribbon states show distinct 26S proteasome accessibility, while cytoplasmic ribbons contact and deform ER‐like ...

Coloração e conservação pós-colheita de frutos de tomateiro influenciadas pelos alelos ogc, norA e rin [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
The objective of this work was to evaluate the effects of the mutant alleles alcobaça (norA), ripening inhibitor (rin), and old gold crimson (ogc), in heterozygosity or homozygosity, on the expression of color and on the postharvest quality of fruit of ...

SOX5 Orchestrates Malignant Evolution via Promoter‐Centric Chromatin Remodeling in MYC‐Driven B‐Cell Lymphoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In MYC‐enforced B‐cell lymphoma, SOX5 occupies promoter‐proximal regulatory regions and is associated with reduced chromatin accessibility at the PCNP locus. PCNP repression promotes proliferative remodeling by limiting apoptosis and cell‐cycle restraint.

Identifying a Csmd3+ Microglial Subpopulation that Drives Cold‐to‐Hot Transition and Immune‐Cure in Glioblastoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The study establishes an immune‐cure (ICu) mouse model based on a TMEMed G422TN‐GBM system that faithfully recapitulates human TMEMed GBM. scRNA‐seq analysis reveals a Csmd3+ microglial subset with innate immune memory (IIM) potential that potently suppresses GBM growth, drives a TME cold‐to‐hot transition, and induces 100% ICu in long‐term survival ...

SPSB1 Promotes Subcutaneous Adipose Hyperplasia in Facial Port‐Wine Stains by Controlling HDAC1 Degradation and Stability Through Two Distinct Proteolytic Pathways

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In PWS‐ASPCs, FOSL1 drives the expression of SPSB1. SPSB1, as part of the ESC complex, further binds to HDAC1 and promotes K29‐linked and K48‐linked polyubiquitination of HDAC1. These modifications facilitate the degradation of HDAC1 through the ALP and UPS pathways, respectively.

RIN Pass-Through at Gasoline Terminals [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Wholesale suppliers at fuel terminals blend gasoline with ethanol to create finished gasoline. Under the US Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS), this blending activity produces a renewable fuel credit, known as a RIN, which blenders can sell to oil refiners ...
