Repeated paclitaxel exposure causes long‐lasting nociceptor hyperexcitability and axonal retraction in adult sensory neurons. Using a long‐term primary nociceptor culture, we show that hyperexcitability is mediated by sequential upregulation of NaV1.8, TRPV1, TRPA1, and TRPM8 channels.

Arsenite methyltransferase 3 is required for mitochondrial function and hepatic lipid metabolism
AS3MT is a protein that helps the body process arsenic, a naturally occurring toxin found in water and soil. We discovered it also helps cells make and use energy properly. Without AS3MT, cells' mitochondria do not work well, leading to fatty liver and reduced activity. Increasing AS3MT in liver cells restores energy and protects against arsenic damage,

Long‐read sequencing‐based atlas of tissue‐specific expression of DNM1L transcript variants
Targeted long‐read sequencing resolves full‐length DNM1L (Drp1) isoforms and reveals conserved, tissue‐specific expression patterns across human and mouse tissues. Functional assays show that Drp1 isoforms differ in their ability to drive mitochondrial fission, independent of abundance, with specific exons modulating activity.

Trim32 regulates the transition from proliferation to differentiation in C2C12 cells after myogenic induction. We found that, at the onset of differentiation, Trim32 destabilizes c‐Myc mRNA, promotes cell cycle exit, and enables normal myotube formation.
