Therapeutic Extracellular Vesicles from Synovial Fibroblast‐Primed MSCs for Osteoarthritis Treatment

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
EVs derived from the microenvironment of SFs transferred MSCs (miSF‐MSC‐EVs) enhanced the expression of miRNAs that regulate cell migration, cell adhesion, and the TGF‐β signaling pathway, demonstrating superior anti‐inflammatory and cartilage regeneration effects compared to conventional MSC‐EVs.

Cellular hnRNP AB inhibits avian influenza virus RNA synthesis via blocking UAP56-mediated nuclear export of PB2 mRNA

open access: yesVeterinary Research
Avian influenza viral ribonucleoproteins (vRNPs) complete genome transcription and replication by interacting with host proteins, and RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp) is its major component.

Kelvin Probe Force Microscopy in Bionanotechnology: Current Advances and Future Perspectives

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Kelvin probe force microscopy (KPFM) enables the nanoscale mapping of electrostatic surface potentials. While widely applied in materials science, its use in biological systems remains emerging. This review presents recent advances in KPFM applied to biological samples and provides a critical perspective on current limitations and future directions for

hnRNPA2B1 recognizes RNA virus SFTSV infection through mitochondrial DNA

open access: yesmBio
The heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein (hnRNPA2B1, hereafter A2B1) was identified as a novel nuclear DNA sensor that mediates antiviral immunity by recognizing viral DNA in the nucleus. However, it remains largely unclear whether A2B1 could function

Stable Protein‐Based G‐Quadruplex‐Derived Supramolecular Bioinks as Tunable ECM‐Mimetic Constructs Assembled by Combining Non‐Covalent and Covalent Strategies

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Harnessing the synergistic interplay of supramolecular self‐assembly, under macromolecular crowding conditions, and enzymatic‐mediated covalent crosslinking toward a stable protein‐based G‐quadruplex‐derived supramolecular bioink. This bioinspired strategy enables the biofabrication of complex and tunable ECM‐mimetic constructs, providing a platform ...

Heterogeneous Nuclear Ribonucleoprotein A1 Catalyzes RNA.RNA Annealing [PDF]

open access: yes, 1992
Within the nucleus, pre-mRNA molecules are complexed with a set of proteins to form heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein complexes. A1, an abundant RNA binding protein present in these complexes, has been shown to bind selectively to single-stranded ...

Differential Gene Expression and Protein–Protein Interaction Networks in Bovine Leukemia Virus Infected Cattle: An RNA-Seq Study

open access: yesPathogens
Introduction: Bovine leukemia virus is a single-stranded RNA virus that targets B cell CD5+ lymphocytes in cattle. Only a tiny percentage of individuals develop malignant lymphoproliferative disorders, while most remain healthy carriers or experience ...
