Interpretation of RNA Universe and Coding Potential Using IntRNA

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study constructs a multi‐channel deep learning framework IntRNA to interpret RNA universe and coding potential. IntRNA consistently performed the best among existing methods in various benchmarks. Moreover, IntRNA’s interpretability is also validated by real‐world analysis, which found some features indicating long‐distance contact between ...

Repositioning Antimicrobial Peptides Against WHO‐Priority Fungi

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The growing burden of drug‐resistant fungal infections, driven by pathogens such as Candida auris, Cryptococcus neoformans, and Aspergillus fumigatus, underscores the urgent need for novel antifungal therapies. This review explores antimicrobial peptides as promising agents with membrane‐disruptive activity, immunomodulatory properties, and delivery ...

Magnetic Fe3O4 Nanoparticles Modified Hydroxyapatite Whisker: A Novel Framework with Superior Osteogenic Efficacy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel magneto‐active bone regeneration framework was engineered by integrating Fe3O4 nanoparticles with hydroxyapatite whiskers (HAw/Fe3O4). This composite acquired magnetic responsivity, enabling programmable microstructural alignment and amplified mechanobiological cues under magnetic fields, significantly enhancing osteogenesis and bone ...

Analysis of trophic responses in lesioned brain: focus on basic fibroblast growth factor mechanisms

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Medical and Biological Research, 1998
The actions of fibroblast growth factors (FGFs), particularly the basic form (bFGF), have been described in a large number of cells and include mitogenicity, angiogenicity and wound repair.

Globotriaosylceramide Gb3 Influences Wound Healing and Scar Formation by Orchestrating Fibroblast Heterogeneity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In superficial second‐degree burn wounds, Gb3 turns on genes related to papillary cells through the FGF2 signaling pathway. This increases the ability of cells to break down fibrin and decreases fibrosis, which ultimately prevents scar formation in burn injuries.

Inhaling Eugenol Inhibits NAFLD by Activating the Hepatic Ectopic Olfactory Receptor Olfr544 and Modulating the Gut Microbiota

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Inhalable eugenol (EUG) from clove oil attenuates NAFLD by activating hepatic olfactory receptor Olfr544, triggering cAMP/PKA/CREB signaling to enhance lipolysis/oxidation. EUG concurrently restores gut microbiota, enriching probiotics (L. reuteri XR23/L. johnsonii XR25) and metabolites (IPA/5‐HIAA) that suppress lipogenesis.

Multifunctional NIR‐Triggered Nanozyme‐Based Microneedles for Synergistic Eradication of MRSA and Enhanced Wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The novel microneedle patches (MN@CTB) are fabricated by integrating CTB nanozymes into HAMA and PVA solution based on a photo‐crosslinking reaction. The MN@CTB microneedle patches present an excellent photothermal effect and NIR‐stimulated release of NO, which is advantageous for the elimination of MRS.
