Online Neuro-Fuzzy Controller: Design for Robust Stability
The Online Neuro-Fuzzy Controller (ONFC) is a fuzzy-based adaptive control that uses a very simple structure and can control nonlinear, time-varying and uncertain systems.

Robust motion control SMC point of view [PDF]
In this paper the robust motion control systems in the sliding mode framework are discussed. Due to the fact that a motion control system with n d.o.f may be mathematically formulated in a unique way as a system composed of n second order systems, design

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Robust Control of Heat Exchangers
This work deals with the design and application of a neuro-fuzzy controller to a heat exchanger and with possibilities to use the coefficient diagram method for heat exchanger control. The heat exchanger is a tubular one and it is used for pre-heating of

Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Robust observer-based DC-DC converter control
This paper develops a novel robust control strategy for DC-DC buck converter subjected to varying load and parameter uncertainty. The proposal exploits the robustness of the sliding mode control (SMC) incorporated with proportional-proportional-integral ...

We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.

This study shows that copy number variations (CNVs) can be reliably detected in formalin‐fixed paraffin‐embedded (FFPE) solid cancer samples using ultra‐low‐pass whole‐genome sequencing, provided that key (pre)‐analytical parameters are optimized.

Correlation of the differential expression of PIK3R1 and its spliced variant, p55α, in pan‐cancer
PIK3R1 undergoes alternative splicing to generate the isoforms, p85α and p55α. By combining large patient datasets with laboratory experiments, we show that PIK3R1 spliced variants shape cancer behavior. While tumors lose the protective p85α isoform, p55α is overexpressed, changes linked to poorer survival and more pronounced in African American ...

Robust Control and Monetary Policy Delegation. [PDF]
This paper adapts in a simple static context the Rogoff's (1985) analysis of monetary policy delegation to a conservative central banker to the robust control framework. In this framework, uncertainty means that policymakers are unsure about their model,
