Research on a Dynamic Virus Propagation Model to Improve Smart Campus Security
This paper focuses on the security and robustness of smart campuses by studying a virus propagation model. Establishing a model that reflects the epidemiological transmission mechanism is a primary method for studying disease outbreaks and control ...

Optimal control for unitary preparation of many-body states: application to Luttinger liquids
Many-body ground states can be prepared via unitary evolution in cold atomic systems. Given the initial state and a fixed time for the evolution, how close can we get to a desired ground state if we can tune the Hamiltonian in time?

Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Méthodes de surclassement et analyse de robustesse [PDF]
Outranking methods and robustness analysis. The introduction gives the arguments on which the choice of outranking methods is based: application domain, existence of a software, lack of works on the robustness of outranking methods.

Nonlinear Schrodinger equation with chaotic, random, and nonperiodic nonlinearity
In this paper we deal with a nonlinear Schr\"{o}dinger equation with chaotic, random, and nonperiodic cubic nonlinearity. Our goal is to study the soliton evolution, with the strength of the nonlinearity perturbed in the space and time coordinates and to

AZD9291 has shown promise in targeted cancer therapy but is limited by resistance. In this study, we employed metabolic labeling and LC–MS/MS to profile time‐resolved nascent protein perturbations, allowing dynamic tracking of drug‐responsive proteins. We demonstrated that increased NNMT expression is associated with drug resistance, highlighting NNMT ...

Biological Robustness: Paradigms, Mechanisms, and Systems Principles
Robustness has been studied through the analysis of data sets, simulations, and a variety of experimental techniques that each have their own limitations but together confirm the ubiquity of biological robustness.

High-dimensional quantum state transfer in a noisy network environment
We propose and analyze an efficient high-dimensional quantum state transfer protocol in an XX coupling spin network with a hypercube structure or chain structure. Under free spin wave approximation, unitary evolution results in a perfect high-dimensional
