Influence of reheating on the trispectrum and its scale dependence [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
We study the evolution of the non-linear curvature perturbation during perturbative reheating, and hence how observables evolve to their final values which we may compare against observations.

Atomic Layer Deposition in Transistors and Monolithic 3D Integration

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Transistors are fundamental building blocks of modern electronics. This review summarizes recent progress in atomic layer deposition (ALD) for the synthesis of two‐dimensional (2D) metal oxides and transition‐metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs), with particular emphasis on their enabling role in monolithic three‐dimensional (M3D) integration for next ...

High efficiency and low roll-off green OLEDs with simple structure by utilizing thermally activated delayed fluorescence material as the universal host

open access: yesNanophotonics, 2016
We achieved high-efficiency and low-roll-off green fluorescent and phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) simultaneously by adopting the thermally activated delayed fluorescence material of bis[4-(9,9-dimethyl-9,10-dihydroacridine)phenyl ...

The origin of scale-scale correlations of the density perturbations during inflation [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
We show that scale-scale correlations are a generic feature of slow-roll inflation theories. These correlations result from the long-time tails characteristic of the time dependent correlations because the long wavelength density perturbation modes are ...

Tracing Sub‐Monolayer Contamination on Wafer‐Scale 2D Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Sub‐monolayer adventitious carbon contamination limits the performance and reproducibility of 2D material‐based devices. This study demonstrates scanning helium microscopy (SHeM) as a non‐destructive, ultra‐sensitive tool for wafer‐scale imaging of surface cleanliness.

Non-Gaussianity from Inflation: Theory and Observations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
This is a review of models of inflation and of their predictions for the primordial non-Gaussianity in the density perturbations which are thought to be at the origin of structures in the Universe.

Formation of Quasi‐Decoupling Interface on Li‐Metal Anodes in High Donor Electrolyte

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Li‐metal anode (LMA) is stabilized by introducing Li2Te2 as an electrolyte additive for Li‐metal batteries. Upon contact with Li, Li2Te2 spontaneously converts to Li2Te, which electronically isolates Li from dimethyl sulfoxide due to its large bandgap and minimal Bader charge transfer.

A Numerical Method on Large Roll Motion in Beam Seas Under Intact and Damaged Conditions

open access: yesJournal of Marine Science and Engineering
The second-generation intact stability criteria, including five stability failure modes, were approved by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) in 2020, and it is an urgent task to develop the numerical method for the significant roll motion ...

Probing P and CP violations on the cosmological collider

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
In direct analogy to the 4-body decay of a heavy scalar particle, the 4-point correlation function of primordial fluctuations carries P and CP information. The CP violation appears as a P-odd angular dependence in the imaginary part of the trispectrum in

Primordial non-Gaussianity from mixed inflaton-curvaton perturbations

open access: yes, 2012
We characterise the primordial perturbations produced due to both inflaton and curvaton fluctuations in models where the curvaton has a quadratic, cosine or hyperbolic potential, and the inflaton potential is characterised by the usual slow-roll ...
