STHANet: Spatiotemporal Hybrid Attention Network for auditory attention decoding

open access: yesJournal of Intelligent Medicine, EarlyView.
STHANet integrates depth‐wise spatial filtering, log–variance temporal characterization, and transformer‐based spatiotemporal fusion to model global EEG interactions for direct AAD. Abstract Auditory attention decoding (AAD) aims to detect the target speaker from electroencephalography (EEG) signals in multi‐talker environments.

Intelligent design of artificial biocatalyst for biomedical diseases

open access: yesJournal of Intelligent Medicine, EarlyView.
This review summarizes recent advances in the intelligent design of artificial biocatalysts for biomedical diseases. By leveraging tailored design strategies, including environment‐responsive engineering and rational/artificial intelligence‐aided optimization, these biocatalysts enable precise modulation of pathological microenvironments and targeted ...

Effect of Visualized Respiratory Training on Patient Cooperation and Image Quality in Gadoxetic Acid Disodium‐Enhanced Liver MRI: A Randomized Controlled Trial

open access: yesJournal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Respiratory motion artifacts impair diagnostic accuracy in gadoxetic acid disodium (Gd‐EOB‐DTPA)‐enhanced liver MRI. Conventional verbal pre‐scan breathing training often yields inconsistent patient cooperation and image quality, creating an urgent clinical need for optimized training methods.

Directivity patterns for room acoustical measurements and simulations

open access: yes, 2015
The acoustics of rooms can be objectively described by the room impulse responses obtained for given transfer paths using measurement or simulation. In practice, the directionally dependent behavior of sources and receivers is often disregarded and thus assumed to be of omnidirectional type.

Perception of room modes in critical listening spaces

open access: yes
Room modes are a recognised problem in small critical listening rooms and are known to cause colouration of sound reproduced within them. Investigations on the causes and solutions for this problem have been carried out for some time.

Stimulated Forward Brillouin Scattering in Subwavelength Grating Silicon Membranes

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
This work proposes a novel strategy to achieve large Brillouin scattering with independent control of the optical and mechanical modes using subwavelength silicon membranes. We experimentally demonstrate remarkably high Brillouin gain, resulting in an on/off Stokes gain of 3 dB and anti‐Stokes loss of 4 dB in a 6 mm‐long waveguide with 35 mW of on‐chip
