Contribution of Indirect Causes to Maternal Mortalities Based on a Methodological Approach to Clinical Epidemiology in Iran [PDF]
Introduction: Level of mothers’ literacy, pregnancy history of more than four times, residence in villages, lack of receiving intensive care during pregnancy, as well as inaccessibility to obstetric emergency services have been reported, in Iran and the ...

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Selection of Root-Cause Process Variables Based on Qualitative Trends in Historical Data Samples
Root cause analysis helps industrial plant operators in finding possible root causes of alarms and their associated abnormalities, where one pre-requisite information is the set of root-cause process variables. This paper proposes a method to determine a

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS PROGRAM MANUAL [PDF]
Root Cause Analysis (RCA) identifies the cause of an adverse condition that, if corrected, will preclude recurrence or greatly reduce the probability of recurrence of the same or similar adverse conditions and thereby protect the health and safety of the

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.
