QUANTUM ANTI-DE SITTER SPACE AT ROOTS OF UNITY [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Modern Physics B, 2000
An algebra of functions on q-deformed Anti-de Sitter space [Formula: see text] with star-structure is defined for roots of unity, which is covariant under Uq(so(2, D-1)). The scalar fields have an intrinsic high-energy cutoff, and arise most naturally on products of the quantum AdS space with a classical sphere.

Differential expression of cancer‐related genes supports prediction of poor response to first‐line treatments in T‐ALL pediatric patients with high minimal residual disease

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the present work, we have identified a transcriptional signature based on the differential expression of six genes (BCL2&MAST4, HSH2D&LAT2, METRN&PITPNM2) that would facilitate the early detection of T‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T‐ALL) patients prone to a poor treatment response and could be implemented at diagnosis, along with other risk ...

Autoregressive conditional root model [PDF]

open access: yes
In this paper we develop a time series model which allows long-term disequilibriums to have epochs of non-stationarity, giving the impression that long term relationships between economic variables have temporarily broken down, before they endogenously ...

Comparing Warm and Cold Gutta-Percha Techniques for Root Canal Filling: An In Vitro Study

open access: yesJournal of Pharmacy and Bioallied Sciences
Background: Gutta-percha is commonly used in endodontic therapy for obturating root canals after cleaning and shaping procedures. Warm and cold gutta-percha techniques are two common methods employed for obturation, each with its own advantages and ...

A CBCT study on distolingual space of mandibular molars in adults with different sagittal skeletal patterns [PDF]

open access: yesKouqiang yixue
Objective To study the distolingual space of mandibular molars in adult patients with different sagittal skeletal patterns, and to analyze the main bony anatomical sites that restrict molar distalization, in order to provide guidance for the treatment ...

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

The pore-rhizosheath shapes maize root architecture by enhancing root distribution in macropores

open access: yes
Pores and old root-channels are preferentially used by roots to allow them to penetrate hard soils. However, there are few studies that have accounted for the effects of pore-rhizosheath on root growth.

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...
