Novel Diterpenoids From Salvia rosmarinus Reveal a Compound With Antiproliferative and Antioxidant Activities

Four novel diterpenoids were isolated from Salvia rosmarinus (rosemary), together with nine known compounds. ECD calculations were employed to establish the absolute configuration of diterpenoids 1 and 2. The 18‐hydroxycarnosol (1) was evaluated as antiproliferative (SRB assay) and antioxidant (DPPH and TBARS), showing promising results.
