Analysis on rotation timing of dynamic Rotating latent-energy-storage envelope (RLESE)
The application efficiency of the Dynamic Rotating Latent-Energy-Storage Envelope (DRLESE) system is highly contingent upon dynamic rotation timings.

In some active optics system, the influence function, which is the surface deformation ability of an actuator, is measured by directly detecting the mirror surface using an interferometer and the surface correction of the primary mirror is done using the

On the analysis of rotational symmetric microstructured surfaces
A previous paper [2] presented an analysis of a class of microstructured optical surfaces in two dimensions, in which a classification of the microstructures was obtained (regular and anomalous) and a concept of 2D ideal microstructures was introduced.

ATZ‐1 promotes DNA replication efficiency to maintain normal meiotic function
Absence of ATZ‐1 interferes with meiotic DNA replication and cell cycle function via CHK‐1. This causes downstream defects associated with DNA damage and genomic integrity. Taken together, this study suggests that ATZ‐1 influences DNA replication efficiency and cell cycle function to maintain normal meiotic function.

We describe detailed protocols for the purification and preparation of Marchantia polymorpha Auxin Response Factor 2 (MpARF2). This protein is fused to an MBP solubility tag and an mNG fluorescent tag and is purified from Escherichia coli. The presented procedures make it possible to study MpARF2 assemblies, which could arise from phase separation ...

Global crustal thickness from neural network inversion of surface wave data [PDF]
We present a neural network approach to invert surface wave data for a global model of crustal thickness with corresponding uncertainties. We model the a posteriori probability distribution of Moho depth as a mixture of Gaussians and let the various ...

GRAPHO-ANALYTICAL STUDIES OF A ROTATION CONICAL SURFACE
This paper presents a Dandelin’s mathematical demonstration theorem, which is more intuitive than a graphical one. The three equations of the plane curves - ellipse, parabola and hyperbola - are obtained particularizing the general conical curves ...

Heterotropic regulation and negative homotropic cooperativity
We identified a structural module common to some proteins that couple negative cooperativity with heterotropic regulation, two features that rarely coexist. These proteins are ring‐like and present an ordered asymmetry whereby noncontacting subunits are symmetric, and their tertiary structure differs from that of contacting subunits.

Effect of rotation on surface tension driven flow during protein crystallization [PDF]
Effect of rotation on surface tension gradient driven flow, which is also known as Marangoni convective flow, during protein crystallization is modelled and studied computationally under microgravity conditions, where the surface tension gradient force ...

Doppler imaging and surface differential rotation of young open cluster stars – I. HD 307938 (R58) in IC 2602 [PDF]
In this paper we present Doppler images of a young active G dwarf (HD 307938) in the southern open cluster IC 2602. Spectroscopic data were obtained over a four-night period in 2000 January at the 3.9-m Anglo-Australian Telescope using the University ...
