Antiproliferative Activities and SwissADME Predictions of Physicochemical Properties of Carbonyl Group‐Modified Rotenone Analogues

open access: yesChemistryOpen, Volume 13, Issue 1, January 2024.
Rotenone derivatives were synthesized through modifications of the carbonyl group and their antiproliferative activities were evaluated against various cancer cell lines (MCF‐7, A549, and HCT116). The physicochemical properties and drug‐likeness of the derivatives were evaluated using the SwissADME webtool.

Antiplasmodial and larvicidal flavonoids from Derris trifoliate

open access: yesBulletin of the Chemical Society of Ethiopia, 2009
From the dichloromethane-methanol (1:1) extract of the seed pods of Derris trifoliata, a new flavanone derivative (S)-lupinifolin 4´-methyl ether was isolated. In addition, the known flavonoids lupinifolin and rotenone were identified.

Isoflavones and Rotenoids from the Leaves of Millettia brandisiana

open access: yesChemical and Pharmaceutical Bulletin, 2008
A new isoflavone, 4'-gamma,gamma-dimethylallyloxy-5,7,2',5'-tetramethoxyisoflavone, brandisianin A (1), was isolated from the leaves of Millettia brandisiana, along with one synthetically known isoflavone, 7,4'-di-O-prenylgenistein (2) and twelve known compounds. The structures were elucidated on the basis of extensive spectroscopic analysis.
