The share of technical thermoplastics is expected to grow further in the e‐mobility segment. In this study, a detailed temperature‐based tribological characterization of technical thermoplastics is performed. The tribological properties are discussed in terms of the dynamic mechanical properties of polymers at different ambient temperatures. A proof of

High‐Temperature Oxidation of the CrFeNi Medium‐Entropy Alloy
The oxidation behavior of equiatomic CrFeNi MEA is a key issue that determines this material's suitability for high‐temperature application. The understanding of long‐term behavior is even more crucial than short‐term corrosion effects. The alloy is exposed to synthetic air at 1000, 1050, and 1100 °C for 24, 100, and 1000 h and systematically compared ...

Granular Space Reduction to a β Multigranulation Fuzzy Rough Set
Multigranulation rough set is an extension of classical rough set, and optimistic multigranulation and pessimistic multigranulation are two special cases of it. β multigranulation rough set is a more generalized multigranulation rough set. In this paper,

Partial approximative set theory: A generalization of the rough set theory [PDF]
There are close links between mathematical morphology and rough set theory. Both theories are successfully applied among others to image processing and pattern recognition. This paper presents a new generalization of the classical rough set theory, called the partial approximative set theory (PAST).

Mesoporous bioactive glass nanoparticles (MBGNs) are investigated for bone regeneration given their remarkable structural and functional properties. MBGNs are functionalized with Mn and Cu and incorporated with quercetin, a natural flavonoid exhibiting antioxidant, anti‐inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties.

Image Retrieval: Information and Rough Set Theories
AbstractIn this research paper, we propose novel features based on information theory for image retrieval. We propose the novel concept of “probabilistic filtering”. We propose a hybrid approach for image retrieval that combines annotation approach with content based image retrieval approach.

This study explores the ablation efficiency and surface quality of laser‐treated stainless steel alloys (AISI 304, AISI 420, and AISI 316Ti) using an ultrashort pulsed laser and varying burst parameters (MHz, GHz, and Bi‐burst). Both ablation rates and surface quality parameters are determined, including isotropy surface roughness values, highlighting ...
