Experience With Performing Rheocarna Therapy via the Single‐Needle Method for Treatment of Chronic Limb‐Threatening Ischemia

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction This study investigated the safety and efficacy of single‐needle Rheocarna therapy for chronic limb‐threatening ischemia (CLTI) with wounds. Methods Six patients with CLTI involving ulcers unresponsive to revascularization underwent single‐needle Rheocarna treatment.

A Data-Driven Method for Energy Consumption Prediction and Energy-Efficient Routing of Electric Vehicles in Real-World Conditions

open access: yesEnergies, 2017
Limited driving range remains one of the barriers for widespread adoption of electric vehicles (EVs). To address the problem of range anxiety, this paper presents an energy consumption prediction method for EVs, designed for energy-efficient routing ...

The forwarding indices of graphs - a survey [PDF]

open access: yesOpuscula Mathematica, 2013
A routing \(R\) of a connected graph \(G\) of order \(n\) is a collection of \(n(n-1)\) simple paths connecting every ordered pair of vertices of \(G\).

IPP Routing Architecture [PDF]

open access: yes, 1994
This paper describes the structure of the IPP routing architecture. IPP is an evolution of the TCP-IP protocol. The main advantage of IPP is the variable length addressing scheme.

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

A Heuristic Angular Clustering Framework for Secured Statistical Data Aggregation in Sensor Networks

open access: yesSensors, 2020
Clustering in wireless sensor networks plays a vital role in solving energy and scalability issues. Although multiple deployment structures and cluster shapes have been implemented, they sometimes fail to produce the expected outcomes owing to different ...

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.
