Eight nido‐ and ortho‐carborane compounds based on celecoxib and flurbiprofen were synthesized and their COX inhibition was determined. The deboronation of the di‐substituted celecoxib derivative results in a switch from COX‐1 inhibitory preference to COX‐2 inhibition.

The cannabinoid receptor type 2 (CB2R) is overexpressed under pathological conditions. PET is a suitable non‐invasive imaging technique for diagnosing disease states, but requires a radiotracer that binds to CB2R with high affinity and selectivity. Currently, there is no suitable candidate routinely used in the clinics.

A rapid and scalable continuous‐flow solid‐phase peptide synthesis technology, using eco‐friendly propylene carbonate (PC) as a solvent is developed. Achieving high yields and purity, it synthesized α‐peptides, β‐peptide foldamers, and α/β‐peptide chimeras.
