RPN-FCN based Rust detection on power equipment [PDF]

open access: yesProcedia Computer Science, 2019
This paper proposes a novel RPN-FCN based rust detection approach. The RPN-FCN generates region proposals with RPN and performs full convolution for semantic segmentation of rust.

NeRF-RPN: A general framework for object detection in NeRFs

open access: yes2023 IEEE/CVF Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR), 2023
This paper presents the first significant object detection framework, NeRF-RPN, which directly operates on NeRF. Given a pre-trained NeRF model, NeRF-RPN aims to detect all bounding boxes of objects in a scene.

SC-RPN: A Strong Correlation Learning Framework for Region Proposal [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Image Processing, 2021
International audienceCurrent state-of-the-art two-stage detectors heavily rely on region proposals to guide the accurate detection for objects. In previous region proposal approaches, the interaction between different functional modules is correlated ...

Comparing R.E.N.A.L., PADUA, and RPN Scores: Is RPN the More Logical Choice in the Robotic Era?

open access: yesBJU International
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE: Since their introduction in 2009, first-generation nephrometry systems, the Radius, Exophytic/endophytic, Nearness to collecting system or sinus, Anterior/posterior, Location (R.E.N.A.L.) and Preoperative Aspects and Dimensions ...

N-RPN: Hard Example Learning for Region Proposal Networks

open access: yes2019 IEEE International Conference on Image Processing (ICIP), 2022
The region proposal task is to generate a set of candidate regions that contain an object. In this task, it is most important to propose as many candidates of ground-truth as possible in a fixed number of proposals. In a typical image, however, there are

Robotic Partial Nephrectomy: Different Surgical Approaches for Different Locations. [PDF]

open access: yesCancer Med
ABSTRACT Background The adoption of robotic partial nephrectomy has grown significantly over the past decade, prompting a debate on the merits of transperitoneal versus retroperitoneal surgical access. This study evaluated the association between surgical route (transperitoneal, TRPN; retroperitoneal, RRPN) and pentafecta achievement using a detailed ...

5-Hydroxytryptamine Distribution Alteration in Both Neuron and Synapse of Tg(SOD1*G93A)1gur Mice: A Potential Intervention Candidate Strategy for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. [PDF]

open access: yesCNS Neurosci Ther
This study reveals that 5‐hydroxytryptamine (5‐HT) synapses in the spinal cord and 5‐HT neurons in the brainstem of the SOD1‐G93A amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) mouse model are significantly altered, showing a decrease in pre‐symptomatic stages but a marked increase as the disease progresses.
