MAINTENANCE OPTIMIZATION BY RPN (case study)

open access: yesInternational Journal of Engineering Science and Humanities, 2013
Maintenance optimization is the problem of determining cost-optimal maintenance decisions for a system or structure to ensure a safe and economic operation. An important concept in maintenance optimization is that of life-cycle costing, where the total costs of design, building, maintenance, and demolition are considered over the entire life span of ...

NeRF-RPN: A general framework for object detection in NeRFs

open access: yes2023 IEEE/CVF Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR), 2023
This paper presents the first significant object detection framework, NeRF-RPN, which directly operates on NeRF. Given a pre-trained NeRF model, NeRF-RPN aims to detect all bounding boxes of objects in a scene. By exploiting a novel voxel representation that incorporates multi-scale 3D neural volumetric features, we demonstrate it is possible to ...

Nicotinamide benefited amino acid metabolism and rumen fermentation pattern to improve growth performance of growing lambs [PDF]

open access: yesAnimal Bioscience
Objective Nicotinamide (NAM) is easily degraded in the rumen, but the rumen-protected NAM (RPN) supplementation might enable the use of NAM in ruminants.

Radiofrequency Ablation-Assisted Zero-Ischemia Robotic Laparoscopic Partial Nephrectomy: Oncologic and Functional Outcomes in 49 Patients

open access: yesAdvances in Urology, 2016
Introduction and Objectives. Robotic partial nephrectomy with peritumoral radiofrequency ablation (RFA-RPN) is a novel clampless technique. We describe oncologic and functional outcomes in a prospective cohort. Methods. From May, 2007, to December, 2009,

RPN-FCN based Rust detection on power equipment

open access: yesProcedia Computer Science, 2019
Abstract This paper proposes a novel RPN-FCN based rust detection approach. The RPN-FCN generates region proposals with RPN and performs full convolution for semantic segmentation of rust. The experimental result demonstrate that this approach improves the accuracy of rust detection compared with other neural networks.

Cooperating RPN's Improve Few-Shot Object Detection

open access: yesCoRR, 2020
Learning to detect an object in an image from very few training examples - few-shot object detection - is challenging, because the classifier that sees proposal boxes has very little training data. A particularly challenging training regime occurs when there are one or two training examples.
