Clinical impact of different detection methods for disseminated tumor cells in bone marrow of patients undergoing surgical resection of colorectal liver metastases: a prospective follow-up study [PDF]
Background: Large number of patients with colorectal liver metastasis show recurrent disease after curative surgical resection. Identification of these high-risk patients may guide therapeutic strategies. The aim of this study was to evaluate whether the

We established a spheroid coculture system enabling viable Porphyromonas gingivalis–HNSCC interactions under normoxic conditions. Inhibition of LATS1/2 maintains tumor cells in an undifferentiated state, which may promote spheroid growth and create a more permissive environment for bacterial persistence.

Universal primers for the amplification and sequence analysis pf actin-1 from diverse mosquito species [PDF]
We report the development of universal primers for the reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) amplification and nucleotide sequence analysis of actin cDNAs from taxonomically diverse mosquito species.

DDX3X induces mesenchymal transition of endothelial cells by disrupting BMPR2 signaling
Elevated DDX3X expression led to downregulation of BMPR2, a key regulator of endothelial homeostasis and function. Our co‐immunoprecipitation assays further demonstrated a molecular interaction between DDX3X and BMPR2. Notably, DDX3X promoted lysosomal degradation of BMPR2, thereby impairing its downstream signaling and facilitating endothelial‐to ...

Detection of Sugarcane yellow leaf virus and Sugarcane mosaic virus in arthropods collected from corn, sorghum and sugarcane in Florida [PDF]
In Florida, sugarcane (Saccharum spp.), Columbus grass (Sorghum almum), and grain sorghum (S. bicolor) are three hosts of sugarcane yellow leaf virus (SCYLV) and sugarcane mosaic virus (SCMV).

ATP13A2 is involved in intracellular polyamine transport in lung epithelial cells
Spermidine transport in lung epithelial cells involves the polyamine transporter ATP13A2. Cell proliferation is associated with the upregulation of ATP13A2. Polyamines are present in all living cells and are implicated in various crucial cellular processes such as proliferation, apoptosis and autophagy.

Inquiries into Wheat Streak Mosaic Virus and Other WSM Associated Viruses [PDF]
Wheat Streak Mosaic WSM) is a complex disease found to cause severe impact on wheat yield. Wheat streak mosaic virus (WSMV Triticum Mosaic Virus (TMV) and Wheat Mosaic Virus (WMOV) are all transmitted by Aceria tosichella, the wheat cun mite, and have ...

Clinical analysis reveals significant dysregulation of FGFRL1 in esophageal cancer (EC) patients. RNAi‐coupled next‐generation sequencing (NGS) and in vitro study reveal FGFRL1‐mediated EC progression via EMT, PI3K/Akt, and Notch pathways. Functional assays confirm its role in tumor growth, migration, and invasion.

Chemosensory gene expression analysis in the argentine ant, linepithema humile [PDF]
This experiment was conducted to determine expression patterns of a subset of chemosensory genes, including odorant receptors (Ors) and odorant binding proteins (OBPs), in the invasive Argentine ant, Linepithema humile.
