Mechanisms and genetics of winter dormancy in raspberry (Rubus idaeus L.)
Dormancy protects temperate plants from abiotic stress during the winter. Once it is established, plants become non-responsive to growth stimuli until they are exposed to a period of cold temperatures (‘chilling’).
