Creating Ti–Fe α/β Alloys by Diffusion‐Driven Solid‐State Processing
This study proposes making alloys containing fast diffusing elements that are difficult to produce by ingot metallurgy, by diffusion‐driven solid‐state HIP processing of elemental powders and low‐temperature homogenisation. Here, novel Fe‐Ti α–β alloys are formed having fine α–β lamellae, a small β prior grain size without significant intermetallics ...

Is rumination after bereavement linked with loss avoidance? Evidence from eye-tracking
Rumination has been identified as a risk factor in adjustment to bereavement. It is associated with and predicts development and persistence of psychopathology after loss. However, the function of rumination in bereavement remains unclear.

: Resilience in farm animals was proposed as an indicator trait for health and robustness. One approach is to analyze the variance and autocorrelation of daily milk production. Daily rumination time is a useful indicator of health status.

Mental Time Travel: The role of Positive Rumination
According to a long tradition of research, people are used to mentally time travel: That is, to recreate memories from the past and envision future scenarios. To date, a growing body of evidence has revealed that people’s estimations about past and future emotional states are inaccurate. Nevertheless, the mechanisms underlying these

Phase Field Failure Modeling: Brittle‐Ductile Dual‐Phase Microstructures under Compressive Loading
The approach by Amor and the approach by Miehe and Zhang for asymmetric damage behavior in the phase field method for fracture are compared regarding their fitness for microcrack‐based failure modeling. The comparison is performed for the case of a dual‐phase microstructure with a brittle and a ductile constituent.

Time‐Dependent Oxidation and Scale Evolution of a Wrought Co/Ni‐Based Superalloy
This study shows how a new wrought Co/Ni‐based superalloy resists oxidation at 800 ∘$^\circ$C. The oxide scale changes from rough, fast‐growing spinel to a dense, protective chromia–alumina layer. Atom probe analysis reveals tiny refractory‐rich bubbles at the interface that mark the transition to long‐term, diffusion‐controlled protection ...

Gaze-fixation and pupil dilation in the processing of emotional faces: The role of rumination
Sustained attentional processing of negative information plays a significant role in the development and maintenance of depression. The present study examines the relationships between rumination, a relevant factor in information processing in depression,
