The Three Dimensional Structure of EUV Accretion Regions in AM Herculis Stars: Modeling of EUV Photometric and Spectroscopic Observations [PDF]
We have developed a model of the high-energy accretion region for magnetic cataclysmic variables and applied it to {\it Extreme Ultraviolet Explorer} observations of 10 AM Herculis type systems.

Assessing Overall Survival Benefits in Advanced Cancers: The Role of External Comparator Cohort Studies with Real-World Data. [PDF]
External comparator cohort (ECC) studies with real‐world data (RWD) may provide more reliable estimates of treatment differences compared to single‐arm trials (SAT), yet they face limitations such as selection bias and data heterogeneity. This study assessed the perceived strength of evidence of ECC studies compared to SAT and randomized controlled ...

Function and Structure of the RWD Domain
Alontaga et al. (1) analyzed the structure of RSUME/RWDD3 and confirmed our findings (2, 3) that RWD is the only well structured domain in RSUME and participates in its binding to Ubc9 and SUMOylation action. Based on experimental data, we proposed that RSUME interacts with Ubc9 prior to the Ubc9-SUMO complex formation (2).

The standard disk is often inadequate to model disk-dominated cataclysmic variables (CVs) and generates a spectrum that is bluer than the observed UV spectra [Puebla et al 2007]. X-ray observations of these systems reveal an optically thin boundary layer

Electromagnetic emission of white dwarf binary mergers [PDF]
It has been recently proposed that the ejected matter from white dwarf (WD) binary mergers can produce transient, optical and infrared emission similar to the "kilonovae" of neutron star (NS) binary mergers.

Improving Web user Experience by Adapting RWD
Responsive Web Design (RWD) is a design which focuses on responsively fitting in whatever device the website is accessed from. It involves writing code for all possible screen sizes and bundling them together. Hence when the website is accessed, the whole bundle alongside the code for all screen sizes are downloaded to the user’s device and acts ...

Non-LTE models for the gaseous metal component of circumstellar discs around white dwarfs
Gaseous metal discs around single white dwarfs have been discovered recently. They are thought to develop from disrupted planetary bodies. Spectroscopic analyses will allow us to study the composition of extrasolar planetary material.

A Spitzer Space Telescope Study of the Debris Disks around four SDSS White Dwarfs [PDF]
We present Spitzer Space Telescope data of four isolated white dwarfs that were previously known to harbor circumstellar gaseous disks. IRAC photometry shows a significant infrared excess in all of the systems, SDSS0738+1835, SDSS0845+2257, SDSS1043+0855
