Multidimensional Cellular Micro‐Compartments to Model Invasive Lobular Carcinoma Dormancy

Invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC) is an understudied subtype of breast cancer that is susceptible to late recurrences. In this study, micro‐compartmentalization techniques spanning multiple dimensions, including 2D, pseudo‐3D, and 3D, are integrated to uncover the mechanisms underlying ILC dormancy, revealing the central role of p27Kip1.

Identification and Characterization of S-RNases in Japanese Plum Genotypes

Many species of the genus Prunus exhibit the gametophytic self-incompatibility system, governed by the S-locus, that encode S-Ribonucleases in the pistil, and are able to degrade the RNA of the pollen tubes when the S-haplotypes of both gametophytes are the same, preventing the fertilization of the oosphere.

Packed for Ossification: High‐Density Bioprinting of hPDC Spheroids in HAMA Toward Endochondral Ossification

Human periosteum‐derived cell spheroids bioprinted at high density within a hyaluronic acid matrix promote fusion and hypertrophic cartilage formation in vitro. Early encapsulation enhances spheroid interaction and matrix maturation, generating scalable cartilage templates intended for endochondral bone regeneration.

Viral Infection‐Inspired Autonomous Detection of Fusion‐Competent Viruses for Screening and Environmental Surveillance

Inspired by viral entry mechanisms, the FUSION assay enables autonomous detection of respiratory viruses via membrane fusion–triggered CRISPR‐Cas13a activation. VEACON selectively fuses with fusion‐competent viruses, triggering fluorescence within confined vesicles.

Identification and characterization ofS-RNasegenes in apple rootstock and the diversity ofS-RNasesinMalusspecies

We isolated and confirmed two S-RNases, denoted as mpS1 and mpS2, from apple rootstock ``Marubakaido`` (Malus prunifolia Borkh. Var. ringo Asami). These S-RNases contained and conserved five cysteine residues and two histidine residues, which are essential for RNase activity.
