Effect of cladding parameters on the hardness of bimetal plates
Hardness is one of the components responsible for the resistance to wear. The development of new materials with hardness surface more than 65 HRC is possible with use welding technologies.

The Effect of Blankholder Pressure on the Amount of Springback in the U-Draw Bending Process
Springback in sheet metal forming processes is a phenomenon that makes it difficult to obtain products with the desired geometry. This paper presents the results of research on the effect of the blankholder pressure on the elastic deformations of sheets ...

Stress Modified Critical Strain criterion for S235JR steel at low initial stress triaxiality
Ductile fracture of low carbon structural steel (S235JR) at low initial stress triaxiality has been predicted using a method based on the Stress Modified Critical Strain (SMCS) criterion and the Gurson-Tvergaard-Needleman (GTN) material model. The influence of micro-defects on the material strength has been taken into account.

The numerical modeling of failure of S235JR steel using Gurson-Tvergaard-Needleman material model
The paper presents assumptions of the Gurson-Tvergaard-Needleman (GTN) model for a porous materials, which is now one of the basic damage material models applied in the analysis of the load-bearing capacity of metal engineering structures. The practical information about the selection of GTN material parameters and performing numerical calculations is ...
